The past is fading away

This work is about the distortions, blurs and transformations
of memories over time. With the thoughts of now you also
change your memories of the past. That makes your personal past very fragile.
I experience it a lot myself, when I am looking back at my
past and rethinking the value and the influences different
situations have had on me.
For this work I used videos from my archive, that I have
made during my last visits to Russia, where I am not able to
go anymore, due to my political position, so every image is
carrying a piece of my past in it.
